Role Summary

The GPU Functional Safety team at Arm is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to design and verify systems for safety-critical applications such as ADAS and autonomous driving.

Experience Level

Senior level position.

Responsibilities

The engineer will contribute from the idea conception to verification, ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing design documentation and managing requirements.
  • Taking ownership of complex work packages and driving them to completion.
  • Implementing complex digital systems using System Verilog.
  • Performing front-end implementation tasks such as synthesis, logic equivalence checking, power analysis and optimization, and X-propagation checking.

Requirements

Required skills and experience include:

  • Strong understanding of computer architecture and system fundamentals.
  • MS or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in microarchitecture details and proficiency in RTL coding using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
  • Familiarity with synthesis, timing analysis, version control tools, and static design checks.

Education Requirements

A Master's or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering is expected.
