Role Summary

Responsibilities

The core responsibilities of the Senior Hardware Engineer include:

• Deploying automation for characterization of mixed-signal integrated circuits.
• Designing and implementing laboratory test setups.
• Utilizing high-end laboratory equipment like oscilloscopes and network analyzers.
• Troubleshooting and debugging complex hardware issues.
• Interpreting test specifications, datasheets, and circuit schematics.
• Documenting test results and processes efficiently.
• Collaborating with hardware engineers for quality improvements.
• Providing technical support to internal teams and customers.

Requirements

Candidates will require a solid academic background and practical skills, including:

• MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Strong knowledge of microelectronics and mixed-signal IC concepts.
• Familiarity with digital and analog circuits, transmission lines, and s-parameters.
• Proficiency in Hardware Test and Characterization, and programming in Python.
• Experience working with UNIX operating systems and scripting.
• Hands-on approach with laboratory bench instruments.

Education Requirements

A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is required for this position.
