Role Summary
At RTX BBN Technologies, you will apply cross-disciplinary techniques to prototype systems that demonstrate concept viability. Your work will focus on the design and development of digital systems, with a particular emphasis on real-time embedded systems.
Experience Level
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Alternatively, in the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is acceptable.
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and prototype innovative multi-domain system architectures.
- Develop real-time control system architectures and sophisticated detection, classification, localization, and tracking algorithms.
- Support the development and testing of experimental testbeds for various systems.
- Conduct operational analysis and evaluate real-time systems in realistic mission scenarios.
Requirements
- Professional experience in FPGA development processes, including RTL design, verification, and validation.
- Understanding of Digital Signal Processing and its implementation on FPGAs.
- Experience with high-speed interfaces and scripting development.
Education Requirements
Degree in STEM field with relevant experience as outlined. Alternatively, extensive relevant experience without a degree may be considered.
