Senior Formal Verification Engineer

Role Summary

The GPU HW Team in Lund, Sweden seeks a highly motivated and experienced Verification Engineer to contribute to one of the most sophisticated GPU designs. This role involves leading verification efforts, developing formal test benches, and ensuring the verification of modules that meet industry standards.

Experience Level

Senior; minimum 10 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

The engineer will be responsible for adopting new methodologies and improving IP verification. The main responsibilities include:

  • Full ownership of IP verification work from planning to project closure.
  • Maintaining and updating verification environments with new methodologies and tools.
  • Ensuring high-quality verification with an eye for detail.
  • Using version control, test management, and issue tracking tools effectively.
  • Analyzing verification metrics and employing data science to optimize processes.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience include:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in verifying designs with formal properties verification techniques.
  • Experience with formal engines and tools such as Cadence Jasper Gold.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Proactive and curious with a drive for high performance.

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Block-level verification experience with UVM or similar methodologies.
  • Experience with git/gerrit and scripting (Linux, Python).
  • Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Cyber Security (ISO 21434).
