Senior Field Application Engineer - Automotive MCU
Role Summary
Provide customer-facing technical support for Automotive MCU platforms across automotive domains (Body/Zone Controllers, Radio/Audio, selected Infotainment). Act as primary technical interface for assigned customers during development, validation, and early production.

Responsibilities
Provide hands-on application and project support to customers using Automotive MCU platforms.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for MCU-based customer projects.
- Serve as primary technical contact through development, validation, and early production.
- Assist with MCU bring-up, peripheral configuration, system integration, and reference designs.
- Debug hardware, embedded software (drivers, BSPs, RTOS), and AUTOSAR Classic (CP) integrations.
- Coordinate escalations with internal AE, R&D, and product teams to close issues.
- Support Automotive Cybersecurity topics (secure boot, secure communication, key usage) and assist in security-related debugging.
- Demonstrate awareness of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) impact on system and software integration.
- Participate in design reviews, deliver technical workshops, and enable customer engineering teams during NPI.
- Maintain structured documentation and follow-up on customer issues and project status.

Must-have: 3β5 years practical experience supporting automotive electronics, embedded systems, or in customer-facing technical roles (FAE/Application Engineer/Technical Support).

Must-have: Solid hands-on experience with Automotive MCU platforms and common MCU peripherals (ADC, timers, PWM, communication interfaces, DMA).

Must-have: Experience with embedded software stacks, BSPs, peripheral drivers, and use of embedded debugging tools (JTAG, trace, logging, memory analysis).

Must-have: Practical system-level understanding of ECUs and domain knowledge in Body/Zone controllers or Radio/Audio/Infotainment.

Must-have: Ability to work on-site at customer locations and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Must-have: English proficiency for technical communication (meetings, emails, documentation).

Nice-to-have: Familiarity with AUTOSAR Classic (CP) integration, Automotive Ethernet/TSN exposure, OEM or Tierβ1 support experience, and system validation/field troubleshooting.

Nice-to-have: Deeper Functional Safety (ISO 26262) or Automotive Cybersecurity implementation experience.

Nice-to-have: GenAI / Edge AI experience (agent usage, model compiling/tuning/quantization) is a strong plus.
