Senior Engineer - R&D Engineering (DFT)

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Engineer specializing in R&D Engineering with a focus on Design for Test (DFT) to contribute to encapsulating software innovations in chip design and verification processes.

Experience Level

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of software development experience, particularly within high-tech or semiconductor environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement sophisticated software solutions and tools.
• Enhance and troubleshoot software for operating systems, compilers, and network utilities.
• Evaluate hardware compatibility to support and optimize software performance.
• Create robust algorithms and data structures for solving complex engineering tasks.
• Collaborate with various teams to manage projects from inception to completion.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative environment.
• Diagnose and resolve technical challenges creatively.

Requirements

• Proficient in C/C++ with strong data structures and algorithms knowledge.
• Experience with operating systems, compilers, and networking tools.
• Familiarity with Hierarchical DFT, 1687, Pattern Porting, and CAD development technologies.
• Adept at resolving complex technical issues independently.
• Knowledge of hardware-software integration and optimization techniques.

Education Requirements

A relevant degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field is expected.
