Senior Engineer, Product QE/PQA PTS/DPM

Role Summary

Lead product quality engineering activities focused on Probe-to-Ship (PTS) yield and DPM improvements at Fab 11 (Taoyuan). Drive debugging, monitoring, qualification, and corrective actions across manufacturing, reliability, and product quality workflows.

Work cross-functionally to improve burn quality, module DPM, product grade, outgoing inspection, MRB/RMA handling, and new product qualification.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include driving yield, quality, and reliability improvements across product and process stages.

  • Lead PTS (Probe-to-Ship) yield enhancement and control actions to meet targets.
  • Identify and debug PTS detractors and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and improve burn quality (ARH/ABI/ABL) and related reliability metrics.
  • Improve module HMB1/QMON DPM and overall product grade.
  • Handle RMA cases and drive CAPA solutions; manage global MRB case analysis.
  • Support new product qualification and ongoing product reliability improvement.
  • Manage qual/QS sample health monitoring and wafer outgoing inspection engineering improvements.
  • Integrate AI-assisted tools, data analytics, and automation to improve monitoring, prediction, and engineering productivity.
  • Develop predictive monitoring methodologies to detect quality excursions and reduce escapes.

  • Proven experience in product quality engineering, yield enhancement, DPM analysis, or related QE/PQA roles.
  • Experience debugging yield detractors and driving corrective actions (PTS/probe-related experience preferred).
  • Familiarity with burn/reliability monitoring and qualification processes.
  • Experience with RMA/MRB processes, root-cause analysis, and CAPA implementation.
  • Ability to use data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools for monitoring and process improvement.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with module-level metrics (HMB1/QMON) and wafer outgoing inspection engineering.
