Senior Engineer, Product Applications
Role Summary
Design and validate analog and mixed-signal application hardware and demonstration systems to support product adoption and sales. Work with cross-functional teams (firmware/API/GUI, product, test) and with customers to resolve issues, qualify opportunities, and demonstrate IC performance.

Responsibilities
Primary duties include hardware and system development, customer support, and internal training.
- Design, layout, build, and test application and evaluation boards to validate ICs and demonstrate features.
- Develop demonstration systems and reference designs for customers and sales activities.
- Create customer-facing collateral, documentation, and application notes; present and deliver in-person training.
- Perform hardware, software, and system testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and measurement automation.
- Support customer visits and technical engagements; travel as necessary to qualify opportunities or resolve issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and report design, reliability, and maintenance issues to product teams.
Requirements
Key technical skills and demonstrated expertise required.
- Proven experience with analog circuitry: ADCs, DACs, amplifiers, analog/digital filters, circuit design, and PCB layout.
- Experience designing and debugging evaluation kits, test boards, and reference designs; automating bench tests and collecting measurements using oscilloscopes, power supplies, and DMMs.
- Ability to collaborate with firmware/API/GUI teams to guide software integration and system-level validation.
- Experience creating technical documentation and customer-facing materials.
- Programming or scripting experience in one or more of: C, C#, Visual Basic, Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW; or familiarity with circuit simulation tools such as SPICE.
- Proficient in developing and delivering training to engineers and customers.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field (foreign educational equivalents accepted), plus four (4) years of experience as an Applications Engineer or equivalent performing hardware, software, and system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting in development of analog or mixed-signal electronic products.
