Senior Engineer - NAND CMOS Device

Role Summary

The Senior Engineer - NAND CMOS Device will set the direction for CMOS technology related to Micron's NAND Memory Technology Roadmap. The role involves collaboration with the Design Team to establish electrical targets and define necessary transistor structures, ensuring manufacturability and yield from the outset.

Experience Level

Senior level with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Improving device performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Defining, executing, and analyzing silicon experiments for future generations.
• Collaborating with Design Engineers to set targets and deliver transistor models.
• Working with TCAD simulation groups on transistor structure strategies.
• Defining electrical test structures for transistors and process monitoring.
• Ensuring transistors meet reliability standards.
• Collaborating with Manufacturing to address yield and reliability issues.
• Mentoring less experienced colleagues to foster teamwork.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications include:

• MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field; PhD in Semiconductor Device Technology preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in CMOS device design, simulation, and characterization.
• Experience in advanced logic transistor technologies and developing Analog FETs.
• Understanding of analog design concepts.
• Strong presentation skills and excellent team mentoring abilities.

Education Requirements

MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
