Senior Engineer - HBM Layout

Role Summary

The Senior Engineer - HBM Layout will be responsible for layout design in Micron Technology’s HBM Team in Guadalajara, Mexico, focusing on high-performance computing and artificial intelligence applications.

Experience Level

Senior level with over 5 years of experience in analog/custom layout design.

Responsibilities

The role includes the following key responsibilities:

• Design and develop analog, mixed-signal, and custom digital block layouts.
• Perform layout verification such as LVS, DRC, and antenna checks.
• Deliver block-level layouts on time with acceptable quality.
• Lead project planning and execution in a multi-project environment.
• Communicate effectively with global engineering teams to ensure project success.

Requirements

The minimum qualifications include:

• 5+ years of experience in advanced CMOS analog/custom layout design.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic/VLSI Engineering or related fields.
• Proficiency in Cadence VLE/VXL and Mentor Graphic Calibre for layout verification.
• Hands-on experience with critical layout blocks like PLL, ADC, and DAC.
• Strong understanding of analog layout fundamentals and circuit performance.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic/VLSI Engineering or a related field is required.
