The Senior FPGA Design Engineer will join Analog Devices' solutions team, focusing on high-performance linear solutions in various applications, including industrial automation, automotive, and healthcare, with a particular emphasis on aerospace and defense systems.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Senior FPGA Design Engineer include:
- Architect FPGA designs targeting ADI’s high-speed converter technology.
- Develop HDL designs on available FPGA evaluation platforms and demonstration systems.
- Support hardware and software teams in system level definition, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Develop design documentation, application notes, How-To guides, and technical articles.
- Provide customer support via the ADI Engineer Zone forum and assist in technical training for field personnel and customers.
Requirements
Qualifications and skills required:
- BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Digital design skills (VHDL/Verilog) with relevant working experience.
- Experience in hardware, HDL, and software debugging/troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of embedded systems, including processors like ARM, Microblaze, and NIOS.
- Familiarity with software (Linux, bare-metal) is required.
- Familiarity with Xilinx/Altera/Lattice devices and tools.
- Knowledge of analog, linear, and mixed-signal circuit fundamentals and devices.
- Exposure to electronics measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Perl/Tcl) and shell scripts.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to develop innovative solutions.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
