Role Summary
Verification engineer focused on subsystem and SoC functional verification within Arm's Hardware/Verification team in Bengaluru. The role works with architects, designers and cross-functional teams to define verification strategy and ensure functional correctness of IP, subsystems and SoCs.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include planning, implementing and executing verification activities for subsystems and SoCs.
- Define verification strategy and write test plans for SS/SoC projects.
- Implement testbenches and develop test cases to meet quality and schedule targets.
- Collaborate with architecture, design, implementation, modeling, performance analysis, silicon validation, FPGA and board teams.
- Work across cross-functional flows (reset, RAS, security, low-power) for high-speed I/O IPs.
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience required for core verification work, plus concise list of preferred additions.

Must-have: 5β7 years of experience in IP/subsystem verification.

Must-have: Experience with one or more protocols such as PCIe or AMBA.

Must-have: Strong SystemVerilog skills and experience with scripting (Tcl, Perl, Python, shell).

Must-have: Familiarity with verification methodologies such as UVM, formal methods and low-power verification.

Must-have: Exposure to full verification lifecycle: requirements collection, test planning, testbench implementation, test-case development and documentation.

Nice-to-have: Experience with PCIe Gen6 and later generations; experience with RAL/register verification.

Nice-to-have: Practical experience on PCIe subsystem design and object-oriented programming concepts.
