Senior Emulation Applications Engineer

Role Summary

The Senior Emulation Applications Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and evaluation to clients in the semiconductor industry. This role requires expertise in emulation methods and strong collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams.

Experience Level

This position is for experienced professionals, specifically those with over eight years of relevant industry experience in emulation of ASIC and SoC designs.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for key customers, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Collaborate with R&D and product engineering teams to deploy innovative debug features.
• Conduct detailed root cause analysis to resolve complex emulation and debug issues.
• Streamline verification processes for SoC designs.
• Support key customers in maximizing the value of Synopsys emulation solutions.
• Drive continuous innovation within the team and organization.

Requirements

Candidates must have hands-on experience with emulation and debug methodologies, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams. A background in RTL verification is necessary along with strong communication abilities. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master’s or PhD is preferred.
