Role Summary

The Senior Embedded Real-time Software Engineer will work in a technical role within an Integrated Product Team environment. The role involves architecting, designing, implementing, testing, and debugging integrated embedded real-time software within heterogeneous systems composed of firmware and hardware for autonomous avionics systems.

Experience Level

This position is targeted at candidates with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field, specifically within the domain of embedded systems and real-time software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Architecting and designing software systems that meet stringent performance and reliability criteria.
• Developing, integrating, and testing real-time software for embedded systems.
• Coaching and mentoring junior team members.
• Collaborating with cross-discipline teams to improve product design and functionality.
• Participating in design reviews and proposal contributions.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), along with demonstrable experience in Embedded C++ Software, Embedded Software Security, and Software Architecture. An active and transferrable Secret U.S. government security clearance is also required prior to the start date.
