Senior Director – IP Development

Role Summary

The Senior Director – IP Development will lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, managing design engineers across various functional domains to drive high-quality silicon solutions that meet established power, performance, area, and cost objectives.

Senior level, with extensive experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this role include:

• Lead and manage a team across multiple disciplines and development phases.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of software for configuring and supporting FPGA IP blocks.
• Collaborate with FPGA IP, hardware design, validation, and application engineering teams.
• Support IP validation efforts through developing test software, running simulations, and analyzing results.
• Utilize understanding of FPGA architecture and digital design concepts.
• Engage with Linux development environments.

Requirements

The following qualifications are required:

• B.Tech/M.Tech/M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Ph.D. preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with scripting languages and programming such as Python, TCL, Perl, C/C++.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with FPGA development tools (e.g., Quartus).
• Exposure to FPGA IP integration, configuration, or validation.
• Knowledge of HDL languages such as Verilog or VHDL.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience in writing test software and automation scripts.
• Interest in low-level software and semiconductor technologies.

Education Requirements

Expected education is a B.Tech, M.Tech, or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. A Ph.D. is preferred.
