Senior Digital Test Engineer-SCAN/MBIST

Role Summary

The Senior Digital Test Engineer will support and drive SoC and Chiplet test program bring-up and validation from NPI through high-volume manufacturing. This role focuses on hands-on ownership of structural test content with emphasis on debugging test issues and improving test efficiency.

Experience Level

Senior level, requiring 4+ years of Test Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

  • Develop, bring up, and validate SoC | Chiplet test programs across NPI and high-volume manufacturing stages.
  • Debug issues related to coverage, test time, yield, and test escapes.
  • Improve test efficiency and cost, including test time optimization.
  • Analyze test and yield data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate across functions with DFT, Design, Yield, Reliability, and Manufacturing Test Engineers.
  • Participate in cross-region collaboration for timely issue resolution.
  • Communicate technical findings clearly to peers and stakeholders.

Requirements

The requirements for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of Test Engineering experience with SoC test program bring-up.
  • Experience in structural test (ATPG, TDF, MBIST), functional test, and high-speed test.
  • Hands-on experience with Advantest 93K or Teradyne platforms.
  • Proficiency in programming or scripting languages (C++, VB, Java, Python).
  • Experience with test or yield data analysis tools.
  • Exposure to test method development and validation.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of work experience; or Master's degree with 2+ years of experience; or PhD in a relevant field.
