Role Overview
The position focuses on leading design verification in the Core design and verification team, which is responsible for developing high-performance and ultra-low power x86 microprocessor cores.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify power management features of complex CPU designs.
- Architect and develop test benches and components for CPU control features including clock and reset management.
- Create and execute detailed test plans, ensuring thorough functional coverage.
- Assess existing test bench setups and identify improvement opportunities.
- Follow coding guidelines and implement a structured code review process.
- Collaborate with global teams to execute verification plans effectively.
- Promote effective communication and documentation in team environments.
Required Experience Level
The ideal candidate should have 10 to 15 years of experience in ASIC design verification, with expertise in various verification methodologies.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates possess a strong understanding of the design and verification life cycle, with hands-on verification experience using C/C++ and SystemVerilog.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
