Senior Design Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Join the Silicon team to develop and execute verification plans for IP blocks and full SoC designs. You will build SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches, run simulation and formal flows, and collaborate with design, IP and software engineers to deliver verified silicon on schedule.
Work is in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Experience Level
Senior β typically 6β10 years of digital design verification or related experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include planning and executing verification activities and delivering measurable progress against verification plans.
- Develop verification plans, define clear metrics, and track progress through project milestones.
- Verify design blocks, subsystems, and full chip using assertion-based, formal, directed and randomized tests.
- Implement SystemVerilog and C-based testbenches within a UVM environment.
- Design verification components such as UVCs, BFMs, and verification utilities/tools.
- Define and maintain regression environments; run RTL, gate-level, and coverage-driven simulations.
- Perform functional, RTL code and assertion coverage analysis and report results.
- Collaborate with design, IP and software teams to debug issues and meet delivery timelines.
- Develop and promote verification best practices and methodologies.
Requirements

- 6β10 years of digital design verification experience.
- Hands-on experience with HDL/HVL languages and methodologies (SystemVerilog, Verilog, UVM).
- Experience with ASIC/FPGA/SoC verification flows and debugging complex digital designs.
- Experience with simulators such as Cadence IES/Xcelium, Synopsys VCS or Mentor Questa.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation: Python, Perl or shell scripting, TCL and Make.
- Strong communication, analytical and documentation skills; ability to interface with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work on aggressive schedules and deliver high-quality results.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the Philippines and able to pass background and reference checks.
Nice-to-have: formal verification experience and experience developing verification tools.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
