Role Summary
You will be responsible for the architecture and design of high speed coherent interconnects for NVIDIA's mobile SoCs and GPUs. This role involves collaborating with architects, software engineers, and circuit designers to create cutting-edge interconnects that enable advanced integrated products through chiplet technology.
Experience Level
This position requires a minimum of 6 years of relevant design experience, ideally within the field of electrical or computer engineering.
Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include:
- Designing state-of-the-art coherent interconnects (NVLINK-C2C).
- Collaborating across teams to deliver high-performance interconnect solutions.
- Analyzing performance data and optimizing power usage in design.
- Mentoring junior engineers and interns in design practices.
Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees are advantageous.
- Familiarity with interconnect protocols such as PCIE, CXL, AXI, and CHI.
- Experience with link layer stacks and physical layer interconnects including memory technologies.
- Proficiency in RTL design and strong skills in Verilog or System Verilog.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education Requirements
BS or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is required; advanced degrees (MS, PhD) are a plus.
