Role Overview

The Solutions Engineering team at Arm is engaged in creating and verifying systems-based solutions across various application sectors utilizing Arm IP products. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to facilitate the product development process within this collaborative environment.

Job Summary

The selected individual will play a pivotal role in designing solutions targeted at achieving optimal efficiency in power consumption, performance, and area. This includes developing Arm IP products and engaging in a variety of collaboration efforts across the organization.

Experience Level

This position requires a strong foundational knowledge in design methodologies tailored for ASICs and SoCs, alongside hands-on experience in the intricacies of RTL design.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Defining microarchitecture and planning new feature designs.
  • Developing system-level RTL code using System Verilog.
  • Conducting design checks and debugging.
  • Collaborating with interdepartmental teams to support performance analysis and power optimization.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and resolving functional issues in design outputs.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Prospective candidates should possess:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of SoC/ASIC design techniques.
  • Experience with RTL design utilizing Verilog/System Verilog, particularly in low power contexts.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Education Requirements

A relevant degree from an accredited academic institution in a field related to Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or similar is required.
