Senior Customer Solution Architect and Application Engineering

Role Summary

Lead a Partner Enablement team that works with hardware design teams and key customers to integrate NVIDIA Embedded solutions from New Product Introduction through mass production. Ensure product quality, optimize system performance, and support thermomechanical and electrical integration for embedded AI and advanced-computing systems.

Work closely with multidisciplinary internal and external teams (hardware, firmware, software, sensors, validation, and AI algorithms) to define system requirements, test plans, and documentation that enable reliable, high-performance customer products.

Experience Level

Senior — 7+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include technical leadership, customer engagement through product integration, and ensuring production readiness of embedded solutions.

  • Lead partner/customer enablement activities across NPI, design integration, validation, and mass production stages.
  • Collaborate with Tier‑1 and OEM customers and internal teams to develop embedded architectures and roadmaps.
  • Integrate NVIDIA SoC solutions with hardware, firmware, software, sensors, and AI algorithms.
  • Define system‑level requirements, specifications, design documentation, and test plans.
  • Evaluate and optimize system performance, power efficiency, and thermomechanical integration.
  • Provide targeted feedback to product and engineering teams for future hardware and system improvements.

Requirements

Key qualifications and skills required to perform the role.

  • Must-have: Expertise in thermal, mechanical, and electrical (TME) engineering across board design through system integration for automotive, robotics, or large-scale embedded systems.
  • Must-have: Track record of leading teams and collaborating with multidisciplinary groups (hardware, firmware, software, validation, project management, sensors, AI algorithm developers).
  • Must-have: In-depth knowledge of AI hardware products and their applications; strong technical problem-solving skills.
  • Must-have: Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Nice-to-have: Prior experience driving customer deploys to mass production in automotive or robotics markets.

Education Requirements

BS (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field — or equivalent practical experience.
