The Senior Custom ASIC Engineering Lead will manage ASIC programs for external customers from inception to completion while ensuring design quality across multiple projects. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams in physical design, testing, and technology integration.

Responsibilities
The Senior Custom ASIC Engineering Lead will be responsible for:
- Managing external customer ASIC programs, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Advising customers on EDA best practices and organizing sessions with technical experts.
- Conducting proactive risk assessments to mitigate potential design quality issues.
- Executing physical design flows to validate customer designs meet strict quality standards.
- Collaborating with marketing, sales, and compliance teams regarding project specifications.
- Staying updated with advancements in Broadcom technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates must have:
- Multiple tape-outs in advanced technology nodes.
- Experience with physical design, STA, EDA tools, and logic simulation.
- Programming skills in TCL and other scripting languages.
- Knowledge of low power design and power management.
Nice-to-have skills include:
- Familiarity with SERDES communication protocols.
- Logic design and RTL coding experience.
- Understanding of DFT methodologies.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 12 years of related experience, or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
