Senior Consultant - HAV (Emulation/FPGA)

Role Summary

The Senior Consultant role at Siemens EDA focuses on delivering technical services within Hardware Assisted Verification (HAV). The consultant will support both multinational clients and smaller companies by ensuring the successful deployment of HAV platforms designed for System on Chip (SoC) designs.

Experience Level

Candidates should have a strong background in electronic design and a practical understanding of HAV technology, including experience with emulation and FPGA prototyping.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include:

• Understanding HAV platforms and infrastructure (e.g., Strato, Primo, proFPGA)
• Navigating HAV compilation and runtime flows (e.g., Veloce, VPS)
• Providing insights on application and usage of HAV
• Mapping design and testbench as well as pre-silicon validation
• Utilizing HAV debug solutions including probes and waveforms
• Applying knowledge of TestBench eXpress (TBX) and In-Circuit Emulation (ICE)
• Conducting functional verification and RTL synthesis
• Demonstrating proficiency in HDL and HVL for design and verification

Requirements

The candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to learn. The position may require travel within the EMEA region.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required.
