Senior Chip Design Verification Engineer

Role Summary

NVIDIA is looking for a verification engineer to join its chip design methodologies team. This position is crucial for developing verification methodologies, shared code, and training, while ensuring efficient operations and high-quality deliverables.

Experience Level

This role requires a candidate with over 5 years of hands-on pre-silicon verification experience along with a background in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.

Responsibilities

• Develop shared verification code and solutions for the chip design team.
• Create innovative methodologies to streamline verification processes.
• Collaborate with the design automation team for integrated solutions involving verification, simulation, and automation.
• Engage with EDA vendors to incorporate cutting-edge tools and technology into verification processes.
• Analyze designs, define verification scopes, and verify design correctness.
• Work closely with designers and verification specialists to complete tasks.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, a desire to innovate, and exposure to design and verification tools. Preferred qualifications include experience with Specman/System Verilog UVM, proficiency in simulation tools, and skills in building test benches and debugging simulation failures.
