Role Summary
NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Networking Silicon engineering team, focusing on high-speed communication devices. This role involves emulating and prototyping complex chip designs, collaborating with multiple engineering teams, and connecting emulators to real or virtual testing environments.
Experience Level
Senior level, with at least 4 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include:
- Emulation and prototyping of complex chip designs, defining methodology and infrastructure for hardware emulation platforms.
- Collaboration with design, verification, and software engineers for software development.
- Connecting emulator/FPGA solutions to external hardware or virtual targets, managing complex testbenches and protocols.
- Involvement in RTL design, verification, FPGA partitioning, scripting, and lab-based implementation.
Requirements
The requirements include:
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Hands-on pre-silicon verification or design experience.
- Experience in building testbenches and debugging simulation failures.
- Scripting skills with Python/TCL/C/Perl/Unix Shell.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to innovate.
Education Requirements
BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
