Role Summary

Senior verification engineer on Micron's ASIC verification team in Minneapolis. Develop and maintain advanced UVM verification environments, verification components, and testbenches to ensure correctness of IP and SoC designs.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include creating and owning verification infrastructure and driving verification closure for assigned blocks.

  • Design, implement, and maintain UVM-based testbenches and verification components.

  • Plan and execute verification strategies for IP and SoC blocks; track and close coverage goals.

  • Collaborate with design, firmware, and validation teams to resolve issues and deliver stable tapeouts.

  • Strong SystemVerilog knowledge and hands-on experience with UVM.
  • Proficient in Python for testbench scripting and automation.
  • Proven experience in IP or SoC verification with simulation and coverage-driven methodologies.
  • Experience with assertion-based verification and functional coverage analysis.
  • Ability to debug complex hardware verification issues and drive closure.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and owning verification environments.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with emulation, formal verification, and AI/ML-assisted verification techniques.
