Senior ASIC Verification Engineer - Networking Chip Design

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior ASIC Verification Engineer for the Switch Silicon group at NVIDIA's Networking business unit. In this role, you will be involved in designing and implementing the next generation of Switch Silicon chips, working alongside a team of engineers to deliver high-speed communication devices.

Position Summary

As a Senior ASIC Verification Engineer, your primary focus will be on the verification of complex chip designs. This position requires strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to influence change in processes and environments.

Experience Level

This role is intended for candidates with over 5 years of experience in ASIC verification and related engineering fields.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in combined design and verification efforts within the Switch Fullchip team.
• Understand the Switch architecture and develop corresponding test plans.
• Maintain and optimize the Fullchip verification environment to align with feature requirements.
• Create and manage Fullchip test suites, including maintaining regressions and debugging failures.
• Sign-off on coverage metrics for the Fullchip environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with a strong academic record or relevant experience. Additional qualifications include:

• 5+ years of experience in relevant engineering fields.
• Proficiency in full chip verification environments for complex semiconductor chips is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is required.
