Role Overview

This position is for a Senior ASIC Verification Engineer within NVIDIA’s System-On-Chip (SOC) group, focusing on system-level IP responsible for performance measurement across multiple projects.

Experience Level

The role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience in ASIC verification, along with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and maintaining the unit level and sub-system verification environment.
  • Understanding architecture specifications and developing test plans to verify designs.
  • Creating UVM components, sequences, tests, and scoreboards.
  • Signing off on verification efforts ensuring high-quality code and functional coverage.
  • Launching regressions, resolving issues, and driving progress towards achieving verification milestones.
  • Automating manual processes involved in launching builds, regressions, and triage.
  • Collaborating with architects, designers, and software engineers to achieve project goals.
  • Improving the efficiency of testbenches by adopting modern verification technologies.
  • Ensuring end-to-end verification of IPs with a focus on quality delivery.

Requirements

Candidates should possess strong skills and knowledge, including:

  • Proficiency in System Verilog and UVM, with experience in object-oriented programming.
  • Strong coding skills in Python or other scripting languages.
  • Solid understanding of RTL design (Verilog) and computer architecture fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with verification tools such as VCS or equivalent, along with debugging tools like Verdi.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience) is required.
