Job Title
Senior ASIC Design Verification Infrastructure and Tools Engineer – GPU
Role Summary
Build and operate verification, integration, and automation systems that enable large-scale ASIC IP development for high-speed I/O. The role focuses on CI, simulation and pre-submit qualification flows, diagnostics, metrics, and tooling to improve reliability and velocity across verification, build, firmware, and infrastructure teams.
Experience Level
Senior — 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include improving verification and integration infrastructure, driving automation, and enabling efficient debug and qualification workflows.
- Design, implement, and improve integration, build, simulation, and pre-submit qualification flows for large ASIC IP.
- Apply practical AI-assisted workflows for debug assistance, run triage, summarization, and workflow automation.
- Improve CI reliability, turnaround time, debuggability, and scalability in distributed compute environments.
- Investigate and root-cause complex failures across verification, build systems, tools, and compute infrastructure.
- Create durable automation and process improvements to eliminate recurring integration issues.
- Define, publish, and use metrics for integration latency, flow health, failure trends, and engineering efficiency.
- Use metrics to guide priorities, forecast risk, and drive system improvements.
- Collaborate with ASIC designers, verification engineers, firmware, methodology, and infrastructure partners to deliver predictable flows.
- Dive into unfamiliar technical areas and drive ambiguous problems to closure.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience working in RTL, verification, or verification infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of ASIC development workflows: builds, simulation, regressions, debug, integration, and qualification.
- Experience with verification methodology such as UVM or similar object-oriented verification frameworks.
- Proficient in Verilog/SystemVerilog with RTL development or pre-silicon verification/debug experience.
- Familiarity with industry simulation and debug tools (for example VCS, Verdi, Xcelium).
- Strong scripting or systems programming skills (Python, Perl, or similar).
- Excellent root-cause analysis skills, especially for intermittent or hard-to-isolate infrastructure failures.
- Self-directed execution: ability to take loosely defined problems across domains and deliver solutions.
- Experience designing CI, automation, and metrics-driven engineering workflows.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience.
