Senior ASIC Design Engineer

Role Summary

The Senior ASIC Design Engineer will work on cutting-edge wireless technologies and contribute to developing industry-leading tri-radio chips. This role requires collaboration with a team of engineers to design and verify systems for wireless products.

Experience Level

Senior level, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in related fields.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

• Working through the full ASIC design cycle, including microarchitecture design, RTL coding, verification, synthesis, FPGA prototyping, and silicon bring-up.
• Conducting IP/SoC verification using C/C++, System Verilog, and UVM.
• Supporting IP delivery, FPGA prototyping, and silicon validation.
• Solving complex design and verification problems.

Requirements

Preferred qualifications include:

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with 3+ years of experience in Bluetooth, IEEE 802.15.4, or related networking controller design.
• Experience in micro-architecture, Verilog RTL coding, and IP/SoC verification.
• Familiarity with ASIC design concepts, design flow, and tools such as HW/SW co-simulation, synthesis, and formal verification.
• Proficiency in C/C++, System Verilog, UVM, as well as scripting languages like Perl, Python, Shell, and Tcl.
• Experience with low power and small area design, SOC integration, and complete product life cycle from specification to production.
• Hands-on experience with FPGA validation and post-silicon bring-up.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) or equivalent experience.
