Senior Applications Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to join our team. The primary responsibilities include providing technical support to top Synopsys customers, assisting in the deployment of STA sign-off solutions, and collaborating with product teams to enhance product features.

Experience Level

This position requires at least 3 years of experience in the semiconductor domain, specifically focusing on STA analysis and ECO flows.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support to top Synopsys customers on STA and ECO domains.
• Collaborate with product teams and R&D to relay customer feedback and improve tools.
• Evaluate customer requirements and develop actionable solutions.
• Assist users with timing signoff and closure issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Develop and deploy automation scripts using Python and TCL.
• Participate in cross-team initiatives for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience in semiconductor industry.
• Hands-on expertise with Synopsys tools like PrimeTime and PrimeClosure.
• Proficient in technical support in the Timing Signoff domain.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with Linux or UNIX and basic scripting skills (Python and/or TCL).
• Knowledge of digital implementation flows is a plus.

Education Requirements

A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
