Senior Application Engineer - Static Timing Analysis

Role Summary

The Senior Application Engineer focuses on providing top-tier support for Synopsys' PrimeTime Static Timing Analysis tool, facilitating the success of both existing and prospective clients. This role requires technical expertise in EDA tools and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.

Experience Level

Applicants should possess either a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 5-7 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 4-6 years of relevant experience in static timing analysis and chip design.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support for the PrimeTime tool, assisting clients in both technical evaluations and deployment.
• Conduct product benchmarks and demonstrate the advantages of PrimeTime to customer teams.
• Deliver engaging training sessions and workshops to enhance customer productivity.
• Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and sales to relay customer feedback for product improvement.
• Assist customers with complex timing analysis challenges, including process variations and signal integrity issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and best practices for user reference.
• Participate in pre-sales and post-sales activities to foster long-term client relationships.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Synopsys PrimeTime or similar tools, with a strong understanding of timing analysis concepts.
• Proficiency in TCL scripting for process automation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client and team interactions.
• Detail-oriented and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; a Master’s degree is preferred.
