Role Summary
The Senior Application Engineer will support Aprisa digital physical implementation EDA solutions. This role requires technical expertise in digital design flows, providing crucial support to customers and ensuring their success with Siemens EDA tools.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide expert technical guidance on the RTL-to-GDS flow and optimize design implementations.
- Diagnose and resolve synthesis and place-and-route challenges.
- Lead benchmarks and evaluations to drive EDA tool adoption.
- Address critical design issues like timing convergence and power optimization.
- Conduct customer training sessions, workshops, and presentations.
- Create and optimize reference flows for synthesis and sign-off stages.
- Collaborate with R&D to communicate and influence product roadmaps based on customer requirements.
Requirements
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in digital physical implementation.
- Experience with process nodes of 16nm and below; 7nm experience is highly valued.
- Proficiency with EDA tools from major vendors (e.g., Siemens EDA, Synopsys, Cadence).
- Knowledge of RTL synthesis methodologies and timing closure techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in Tcl scripting and Python for EDA tool automation.
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused mentality.
- Willingness to travel up to 25-30% for customer interactions.
