Senior Analog Design Engineer - MCU
Role Summary
Lead development and integration of next-generation ultra-low-power analog circuitry and algorithms for NXP MCU SoCs. Work within the Analog team in Yokneam Ilit to design, validate and integrate analog and circuit-level solutions into SoC projects.
Experience Level
Senior — minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include technical leadership, design, integration, and validation.
- Lead algorithm development and analog/circuit techniques for ultra-low-power operation.
- Integrate analog/low-power technology into new NXP SoC designs and collaborate with SoC teams.
- Perform circuit and analog chip design, simulation, and validation activities.
- Define HW/SW partitioning and coordinate verification across hardware, firmware and software teams.
- Communicate design decisions and status with multinational teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in circuit or analog design.
- Practical circuit design experience.
- RTL coding experience (Verilog).
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso design and simulation tools.
- Strong system-level view and ability to separate HW/SW tasks.
- Excellent communication skills; able to work independently and in teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Analog design experience.
- Experience with ultra-low-power design techniques.
- Familiarity with SKILL and Python scripting.
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical Engineering is stated; a Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical Engineering is an advantage. Equivalent practical experience is implied for senior-level candidates.
