Semiconductor Package Electrical Engineer
Role Summary
Design and validate electrical behavior of high-speed interfaces in semiconductor packages. Work with circuit designers, IP vendors, product and system engineering to extract and correlate package electrical models and ensure signal integrity in system environments.
This role includes modeling, simulation, measurement correlation, and development of automated solutions to scale verification and analysis.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Perform electrical and physical design work for high-speed package interfaces.
- Extract and validate electrical models of package interconnects and correlate with circuit design and IP vendors.
- Perform electrical modeling, simulation (frequency and time domain), and characterization of high-speed links.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate package models against measurements.
- Collaborate with product and system engineering for package-to-system correlation and validation.
- Contribute automation and AI-based solutions to scale analysis, validation, and verification workflows.
- Drive innovation for future memory generations within a dynamic engineering team.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- Experience with electrical model extraction, validation, and correlation for package interconnects.
- Hands-on experience with modeling, simulation, and characterization of high-speed interfaces.
- Ability to develop and execute electrical test plans and interpret measurement data.
- Experience working cross-functionally with circuit designers, IP vendors, product and system engineers.
- Familiarity with Ansys, Siemens, or Cadence tools for frequency-domain and transient/time-domain analysis.
- Experience applying automation or AI techniques to engineering verification or analysis tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaboration across engineering groups.
Education Requirements
MTech in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Electromagnetics, Microwave, Antenna Theory, and RF Circuits.
