SCE Test Engineer (Staff/Senior)
Role Summary
This is a Test Engineering position in the Secure Connected Edge Processing business line at NXP Semiconductors. The role involves developing ATE test solutions for SCE NPI products, working on new products in the latest process technology node.
Experience Level
Senior level, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in ATE test program development.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Develop ATE test solution for SCE Edge MPU microcontrollers, including breakthrough projects and IP test vehicles from product concept to launch.
- Validate first silicon and deliver test programs and hardware requirements to the product engineer for qualification and release.
- Evaluate new test methods to improve coverage, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Provide inputs on Design-For-Test (DFT) requirements to the Design team.
- Manage TE deliverables and collaborate with global cross-functional teams.
Requirements
The requirements for this position include:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or relevant disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ATE test program development (e.g., Teradyne UP1600 or Advantest PS1600).
- Self-motivated with strong planning and execution skills.
- Excellent communication skills and strong teamwork abilities.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or relevant disciplines.
