Role Summary

Broadcom is seeking a Digital IC Design Engineer to join the Data Center Solutions Group in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The role focuses on implementing and supporting RTL designs using Verilog/SystemVerilog to drive next generation AI/ML ecosystems and manage mega datacenters.

Experience Level

Senior level position requiring a minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• High-level architecture specification analysis and interactive authoring.
• Micro-architecture development and documentation.
• Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL implementation based on design specifications.
• Convergence of design to timing closure through optimization strategies.
• RTL debugging with robust design solutions.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve RTL design issues.
• Lab support for silicon during validation processes.

Requirements

The following skills and experience are required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog and digital design principles.

Desired attributes (not required):

• Familiarity with PCIe protocol.
• Understanding of CXL protocol.
• Experience with AMBA protocols and RAID Storage designs.
• Knowledge of PCIe Switch designs.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent Engineering degree.
