Responsible for modelling and characterising RF semiconductor devices to support product and process development. The role sits within the device modelling/engineering team and collaborates with design, test, and process engineers to ensure accurate device performance prediction.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include device modelling, experimental characterisation and cross-functional collaboration:

  • Develop and validate compact and physics-based RF device models for simulation.
  • Design and execute experiments to characterise RF device performance and extract model parameters.
  • Analyze measurement data and compare with simulations; iterate on models.
  • Work with process and test teams to identify variability and reliability issues.
  • Document model development and maintain model libraries and test reports.

Requirements

  • Must-have: Experience with RF device modelling or characterization, measurement techniques for RF devices, and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with circuit/device simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, BSIM, TCAD) and scripting for data processing.
