R&D Engineering Architect
Role Summary
The R&D Engineering Architect will lead planning and architecture of research initiatives for semiconductor solutions, setting technical direction for innovations. Engaging with cross-functional teams and partners, this role ensures the delivery of advanced silicon-to-system reliability solutions.
Experience Level
Senior level with a minimum of 8 to 12 years of relevant experience, depending on educational background.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the planning and architecture of research initiatives across multiple projects.
- Coordinating product design and development activities.
- Acting as the top technical reference across groups or products.
- Defining, developing, and maintaining best practices through technical reviews.
- Engaging with strategic customers and partners to assess needs and develop solutions.
- Functioning as a high-level team leader or project manager.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 12 years’ experience, MS with 10 years, or PhD with 8 years.
- Extensive commercial experience addressing semiconductor reliability challenges such as EMIR and thermal stress.
- Proven track record of technical leadership and innovative solution delivery.
- Expertise in silicon-to-system reliability technologies.
- Experience driving technology roadmaps across multiple teams.
Education Requirements
BS, MS, or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
