Project Manager

Role Summary

The Project Manager will lead cross-functional engineering teams to plan, track and deliver System IP and SoC-related products (CPU, DMC, Interconnect, MMU, GIC, GPU, PHY). The role works closely with Product Managers, Technical Leads and engineering partners to ensure product quality, specification compliance and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include project planning, scheduling, resource and budget management, risk and issue mitigation, change control and coordination across internal teams and external partners. Minimal travel is required.

Mid-level. Specific years of experience not stated; relevant semiconductor project management experience is required.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on delivering engineering projects across the hardware and soft-IP lifecycle.

  • Lead project teams from conception through final delivery and release.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and detailed schedules; define and track metrics.
  • Manage resources, budgets, scope and change control.
  • Identify, track and mitigate risks and issues; manage dependencies across teams and partners.
  • Coordinate with Product Managers, Technical Leads, engineering teams and external partners.
  • Communicate status, escalations and project documentation to stakeholders.
  • Apply appropriate development methodologies (waterfall, iterative) to delivery plans.

Requirements

Must-have technical and project management capabilities.

  • Experience in the semiconductor industry and knowledge of microelectronics and IP development/integration.
  • Proven project management experience across hardware and soft-IP development lifecycles.
  • Ability to create high-level plans and translate them into detailed schedules and meaningful tracking metrics.
  • Experience with planning, tracking, resource allocation, issue/risk management, change management and managing cross-team dependencies.
  • Strong communication skills for working with highly skilled engineering teams and external partners.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira and Confluence (nice-to-have).

Education Requirements

Preferred: university degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science. A formal project management qualification (e.g., PMP) is listed as desirable. Equivalent practical experience is acceptable.
