Job Title

Program Management Engineer

Role Summary

Lead cross-functional product development teams to release new semiconductor products on schedule, on budget, and meeting quality and reliability targets. The role coordinates design, manufacturing, test, validation, and customer engagement to ensure successful product qualification and ramp.

Experience Level

Mid-level β€” minimum 5 years of project engineering or program management experience on complex products.

Responsibilities

Manage program execution across global teams and manufacturing sites to achieve product release and return-on-investment targets.

  • Lead cross-functional teams (design, marketing, applications, validation, test, firmware/software, manufacturing, field, quality) to deliver new products.
  • Coordinate with wafer fabrication, assembly and test sites to ensure schedule, cost and quality targets.
  • Plan and track projects using MS Project from opportunity assessment through release to market; maintain up-to-date schedules and milestones.
  • Provide direction to internal teams and external partners; manage logistics, shipment, and production/test prioritization.
  • Report project status to senior management on a weekly/monthly cadence and communicate with customers on milestones, samples, and deliveries.
  • Develop and implement qualification plans; perform product reliability and characterization and work with failure analysis to resolve issues.
  • Maintain program data in internal systems per new product development guidelines.

Requirements

Key skills and experience required and preferred for success in this role.

  • Must-have: Minimum 5 years project engineering/management experience on highly complex products or projects.
  • Must-have: Proven leadership in leading multifaceted global organizations and demonstrated ability to influence indirectly.
  • Must-have: Demonstrated track record delivering projects on schedule and within budget; strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Preferred / Nice-to-have: Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects and coordinating global development teams across design, fabrication, test, qualification and production ramp.
  • Preferred / Nice-to-have: Knowledge of device packaging, wafer fabrication processes, reliability requirements, and tri-temperature characterization methods using statistical analysis.
  • Preferred / Nice-to-have: Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and ability to build influential cross-functional relationships.
  • Preferred / Nice-to-have: Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, changing environments and take initiative to drive results.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline (Bachelor's degree required per job posting).
