Product Yield Enhancement Engineer
Role Summary
Work on a cross-functional engineering team to identify, analyze, and resolve yield-limiting product and process issues to enable successful product releases. Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Marketing to drive data-driven yield improvements and accelerate root-cause identification using failure analysis and AI-assisted tools.

Responsibilities
Main responsibilities include technical investigation, analysis, and corrective action to improve product yield and reliability.
- Identify and investigate root causes of yield loss through product and process analysis.
- Perform physical failure analysis to determine failure mechanisms related to assembly defects and fabrication processes.
- Collaborate with multi-functional engineering teams to resolve process- and defect-related issues.
- Apply statistical methods, data analytics, and AI-assisted tools to support yield improvement projects and engineering decisions.
- Follow chemical safety protocols, laboratory procedures, and industry guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

- Experience or coursework in semiconductor manufacturing, yield enhancement, process engineering, or failure analysis.
- Experience with laboratory equipment or interest in developing expertise with Focused Ion Beam (FIB) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) technologies.
- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, or a related engineering field. The posting explicitly allows equivalent practical experience in lieu of a degree.
