Product/Test Engineer — Entry Level
Role Summary
Responsible for ensuring the quality of new product introductions through characterization, qualification, and production testing of automotive microprocessors. The role develops test methods, programs, fixtures, and procedures to verify performance and manufacturability, and drives root-cause debug of failing devices.
Work is performed on a collaborative engineering team; the group emphasizes knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and implement cost-effective test methods for integrated circuits.
- Prepare qualification, production test, and diagnostic programs for Automatic Test Equipment.
- Design test fixtures and test equipment; document specifications and procedures for new products.
- Perform data analysis to evaluate device performance and production yields.
- Define processing or handling equipment requirements and review manufacturing/test methods.
- Debug failing devices to identify root causes, resolve false fails, and improve profitability/yield.
Requirements

- Strong teamwork, communication, and listening skills.
- Interest in and aptitude for programming and automation.
- Analytical problem-solving skills and curiosity for complex/uncertain problems.
- Ability to debug hardware issues and work with test data to identify root causes.
- Willingness to learn semiconductor test, characterization, and qualification techniques.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Automatic Test Equipment (e.g., Teradyne, Advantest) or semiconductor test program development.
- Experience designing test fixtures or diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with characterization and qualification processes for automotive microprocessors.
Education Requirements
Recent Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
