Job Title

Product Manager (f/m/d)

Role Summary

The Product Manager owns the product lifecycle for Bluetooth Low Energy and multiprotocol products and platforms from concept through end-of-life. This role represents the customer and market, defines product requirements and the whole-product proposition, and drives New Product Introduction (NPI) and go-to-market activities.

The PM works cross-functionally with system architects, IC and software engineering, product enablement, sales/FAE, and marketing to deliver integrated silicon-plus-software solutions and achieve design wins and market adoption.

Experience Level

Senior — typically 5+ years in semiconductor, embedded systems, or microcontroller-based products, plus at least 2 years in product definition, product management, applications, or system architect roles.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include defining and delivering differentiated BLE and multiprotocol products and platforms.

  • Own the whole-product proposition, lead MRDs, and set product specifications (IC, SDK, embedded SW, kits, and tools).
  • Translate customer and market needs into prioritized requirements and system-level use cases.
  • Develop business cases, perform competitive analysis, and support investment prioritization.
  • Drive NPI activities: pricing proposals, product collateral, early customer engagements, and launch execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (architecture, IC, infrastructure, ecosystem engineering, product enablement, sales/FAE, marketing) to ensure alignment and feasibility.
  • Maintain product and technology roadmaps; identify feature gaps and competitive differentiation.
  • Act as primary technical/product interface to customers and field teams; secure design wins and customer adoption.
  • Manage lifetime activities including technical updates, Product Change Notifications (PCN), and Product Discontinuation Notifications (PDN).

Requirements

Minimum technical and professional qualifications and preferred skills.

  • Must-have: 5+ years experience with semiconductor, embedded systems, or microcontroller-based products.
  • Must-have: 2+ years in product definition, product management, applications engineering, or system architect role.
  • Must-have: Practical knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy and wireless standards, and strong RF fundamentals.
  • Must-have: Familiarity with microcontroller architectures (ARM Cortex, RISC-V, etc.) and embedded software ecosystems.
  • Must-have: System-level design understanding: power, performance, cost, safety, and security trade-offs.
  • Must-have: Proven cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to engage directly with customers.
  • Preferred: Experience with automotive applications and standards (AEC‑Q100, ISO 26262) and automotive use cases such as Digital Key, TPMS, or in-cabin sensing.
  • Preferred: Track record of launching products, securing design-wins, and driving revenue growth.
  • Competencies: customer-first mindset, system thinking, clear communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders, strategic and data-driven decision making, and ability to influence without formal authority.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred. The posting does not list specific certifications; equivalent practical experience in relevant technical roles is acceptable where indicated by prior product and domain experience.
