Product Engineer I - Verification
Role Summary
Work with Sales and Engineering to evaluate, demonstrate, and deploy Cadence Verification Division products for customers. The role leads technical evaluations, benchmarking, customer training, and ongoing project support for verification and prototyping solutions.
Experience Level
Entry-level (Product Engineer I). The posting requires a minimum of 3+ years of industry experience.
Responsibilities
Primary technical and customer-facing responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with Sales to identify and scope customer opportunities for verification products.
- Plan, execute and manage technical evaluations and benchmarks with customers.
- Provide hands-on support during customer projects, including ramp-up and ongoing accompaniment.
- Deliver trainings, presentations, and product demonstrations (basic and advanced).
- Respond to complex client technical queries and provide expert-level troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with corporate engineering and product teams to relay customer requirements and suggest product improvements.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, experience, and attributes:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in verification, prototyping, or EDA-based design/debug of consumer applications.
- Familiarity with simulators such as IES or VCS.
- Hands-on knowledge of Linux and scripting with Tcl.
- Strong program and engagement management skills; effective team player.
- Good English communication skills and ability to work in a global, customer-facing role.
- Current passport with no travel limitations (required).
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with SoC emulation/acceleration, hybrid solutions, UVM, verification IPs, or transactors.
- Experience with emulators/accelerators such as PXP, Zebu, or Veloce.
Education Requirements
Minimum Bachelor's degree (BS) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. The posting also specifies a minimum of 3+ years of industry experience.
