Product Engineer
Role Summary
Owner of outgoing quality for production parts and yield performance across assembly and test stages (CP, BP, FT). Works with global manufacturing lines, suppliers, and customers to resolve yield excursions, optimize test limits, and reduce test time.
Member of the Supply Chain team in Muntinlupa focused on production quality, continuous improvement, and technical support for manufacturing and customers.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include managing outgoing quality, monitoring yields, leading root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement.
- Manage outgoing quality decisions and dispositions for production anomalies and out-of-control scenarios.
- Provide dispositions on low-yield reports from manufacturing lines and communicate with vendors.
- Participate in root cause analysis efforts with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers.
- Monitor assembly and test yields (CP, BP, FT) and define SBC/SBL limits.
- Review and adjust test limits using 6-sigma methodology; optimize and reduce test time.
- Lead continuous yield improvement and initiate corrective actions upon divergence.
- Support suppliers with device knowledge and second-sourcing/device migration activities.
- Prepare process and product qualification documentation and reports.
- Provide technical support and respond to customer inquiries on product functionality and troubleshooting.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- Minimum three years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, IC design, or product engineering.
- Experience using JMP and Galaxy.
- Ability to work effectively within a global matrix organization.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Quality-driven mindset, analytical skills, and the ability to make technical judgments under pressure.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with yield optimization programs, 6-sigma processes, and test-time reduction initiatives.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (listed in the source as within a relevant field). No certifications or equivalent-experience language specified.
