Product Development Quality & Reliability Engineer

Role Summary

Responsible for defining and executing product qualification strategies to ensure product quality and reliability for new designs and form factors. Works across design, process, fabrication, assembly and test teams to enable manufacturability, validate test methods, and support site readiness.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Early career — approximately 3 years of experience in product development and qualification in the semiconductor industry, as specified in the posting.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include driving qualification activities, developing tests and release criteria, and partnering with manufacturing and test sites.

• Develop and execute product qualification strategies and plans; enforce release criteria.
• Perform risk assessments and define quality and reliability goals.
• Augment or modify release criteria for new designs and form factors.
• Design, develop, and validate component, board, and system-level tests and manufacturing test processes.
• Support testability circuits, test flows, and debug complex test methods.
• Interface with process development, fab, assembly, manufacturing, and outsource partners to ensure quality and reliability.
• Analyze specifications and early customer feedback to drive design and manufacturing improvements.
• Lead site readiness and certification activities; monitor post-silicon quality and implement learnings into future designs.

• About 3 years' experience in product development and qualification in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience with product qualification planning, risk assessment, and release criteria enforcement.
• Experience developing and debugging complex test methods, test flows, and manufacturing test processes.
• Proven ability to collaborate with process, fab, assembly, manufacturing, and test teams.
• Ability to analyze specifications, process corners, and manufacturing risks to ensure manufacturability.

Nice-to-have:

• Knowledge of quality and reliability practices specific to product qualification.

Education Requirements

BSc or MSc in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent technical degree).
