Role Summary

Provide product architecture and technical consultancy for Siemens EDA Calibre RET tools, focusing on optical lithography, IC fabrication and design-for-manufacturability (DFM). Work with customers (fab and fabless), Sales/Marketing and R&D to implement, validate and drive adoption of RET solutions.

The role requires frequent customer engagements to tailor solutions and validate production flows.

Experience Level

Mid-level. No specific years of experience are stated; role requires demonstrated practical expertise and regular customer-facing work.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain expertise in Siemens EDA tools for optical lithography, IC fabrication, and DFM.
• Provide onsite and remote consultancy to fab and fabless customers to implement advanced RET solutions.
• Customize and validate RET flows within customer production environments.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to provide technical support and promote Calibre RET tool adoption.
• Interface with R&D to align customer requirements with product development and updates.
• Monitor EDA market landscape and competitors to inform product and engagement strategy.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills, travel expectations, and interpersonal qualities:

• Willingness to travel 50–80% for on-site customer engagements.
• Solid understanding of the IC fabrication flow.
• Strong background in optics related to lithography.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work independently and in teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines; high sense of responsibility and ownership.
• Nice-to-have: experience with Tcl/Tk scripting and Python.

Education Requirements

BSc in Electrical Engineering (Electronics and Communications) is specified.
