Process Development Engineer Intern - DLP

Role Summary

Internship role supporting process development teams at a Texas Instruments fabrication site in Dallas. The position focuses on hands-on process characterization, developing test methods, and improving process integration for analog and embedded memory semiconductors.

The intern will run experiments, analyze data, and work with cross-functional teams to improve process efficiency, quality, and cost.

Experience Level

Entry-level internship for students currently pursuing an undergraduate degree; suitable for candidates with academic and some practical lab or equipment experience.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Design and execute experiments (Design of Experiments) to characterize process variables.
  • Develop and qualify materials and testing methods.
  • Lead or contribute to small projects and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret process data using analytical techniques.
  • Develop methodologies to improve characterization efficiency, reduce cost, and increase quality.
  • Collaborate with Integration, Manufacturing, and Planning teams.
  • Use basic programming to collect data and streamline analysis.
  • Prepare and present results clearly to stakeholders.

Education Requirements
