Principal Validation/Verification Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Principal Validation/Verification Engineer to join our team in Sunnyvale, California. This role requires extensive experience in ATE test development, particularly with Advantest 93K, and the ability to lead projects and mentor team members.

Overview of Responsibilities

You will be responsible for leading ATE testing, developing advanced test programs, implementing new test methodologies for project qualification, and ensuring collaboration with design and product teams for quality assurance. Your role will also include documenting results to facilitate improvements in the product development cycle.

Experience Level

The position requires a seasoned engineer with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in semiconductor testing and validation. Proficiency in Advantest 93K is required.

Key Duties

• Lead ATE testing with Advantest 93K testers.
• Develop advanced test programs and flows.
• Create electrical failure analysis test programs.
• Implement new testing methodologies for project qualification.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to ensure product quality.
• Document results and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have hands-on experience with Advantest 93K, strong skills in test program development, and expertise in failure analysis. A Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is required.
